Maclaren have been making buggies for quite a long time now and they have a wide range from the most basic model (the Triumph) to the model with the most features (Techno). Therefore you should be able to choose a model that matches your needs, some are more suitable when baby is a bit older, yet the more expensive models can be used from birth. One of the key attributes of the Maclaren range is its simple umbrella fold mechanism which makes the buggy a great choice for using with public transport.

Maclaren Triumph - 2008/2009 Modelmaclaren triump

The triumph buggy is a steadfast and resilient, yet light weight pushchair. It has a quick and easy compact umbrella fold and a carry strap for easy travelling; the Triumph is suitable from 3mths. It has a multi position seat that is adjusted via a strap at the back of the seat.

Maclaren Quest Sportmaclaren quest sport

The Quest Sport is similar the the Triumph but has the added benefits of a more padded seat, slight better harness, comes in a different array of colours. It has has an adjustable leg rest (which makes it more comfortable for your baby when sleeping as it pulls out a bit to become a little more flat) and the seat has better recline positions ( 4 position recline). It has a quick and easy compact umbrella fold and a carry strap for easy travelling; the Quest Sport is suitable from 3mths. It has a multi position seat that is easy adjusted via a clip at the back of the seat.

Maclaren Techno XLR - 2009 Modelmaclaren techno

Four seat positions and a head hugger so is suitable from birth. Adjustable handles and a full pull down hood so you don't have to get rain cover out every two minutes or worry about sun.

Very easy to navigate around shops with tight corners.

Lightweight with MacLarens one hand fold mechanism, relatively small so fits in the boot of most cars.

Can form a travel system.

Slightly more expensive than the other buggies in the Maclaren range, but at Mumsdeals we believe the extra functionality is worth it.

The Volo is the lightest and simplest stroller in the Maclaren Range. It has a quick and easy compact umbrella fold and a carry strap for easy travelling; the Volo is suitable from 6mths (it does not recline).

It has a 5 point harness, handy mesh shopping basket and comes with a raincover.

It comes in a variety of colours (black, pea green stripe, red, yellow, blue)

Maclaren Twin Technomaclaren twin techno

This stroller is also suitable (from birth) for a baby and toddler or two babies as the seats recline fully back and independent of each other. There are 5 seat positions on the fully reclining independent seats, each seat contains removable head huggers for optimal comfort amd extendable foot rests

The shopping baskets are a good size, the buggy is reasonably narrow enough to fit through most doors (although we recommend you test and measure this to your font door) and the buggy has an easy umbrella fold mechanism as well as a carry handle making it quite portable. Overall we think this is reasonably good value for money for a twin pram.

This stroller is suitable for a baby and toddler or two babies as the seats recline independent of each other. The seats however do not recline completley flat, so if you want a lie flat seat then the Maclaren Twin Techno is a better option.
